Make 30-second videos

When 30-second videos are available on your account, a one-time pack lets a swap run longer than your plan's longest clip.

When you'll see this

30-second videos aren't available on every account. They need plans to be on for your account, and a plan with AI swaps. When they are available, the Cut step shows longer lengths, up to 30 seconds, with a lock next to them. Locked lengths only go as long as your video. Your plan's own clip lengths work as usual.

Longer swaps aren't part of any plan. They use a one-time pack of seconds, the 30-second pack. The seconds never expire. While longer lengths are locked, a note about the pack shows below the cut.

Make a longer swap

  1. In Create, pick your video and open the Cut step. See Pick the part of the video to use.

  2. Tap a locked length. Your current cut stays as it is, and the page scrolls to the pack note.

  3. Once you have seconds in the pack, choose the longer length and set your cut.

  4. Go on as usual. On the review, Uses shows how many seconds of your pack this swap uses.

To get seconds, tap Add the 30-second pack in the note for the pack of up to 5 videos of 30 seconds, or Buy next to the pack of up to 12. Checkout opens. See plans for prices.

The pack is counted in whole seconds, and each swap uses at least 3 seconds. If your pack has fewer seconds left than a clip needs, Create tells you how many you have.

After it's made

A longer swap is made in 1080p. Its page shows a 30-second video badge.

Good to know

  • In the phone app, you may only see the longer lengths you already have seconds for.
  • If a message says 30-second videos are paused right now, your seconds are kept. Clips up to your plan's longest length still work.
