A link won't load

ReShare AI works with public Instagram, TikTok and YouTube links. Here's what each message means and what to try.

On this page

In Create, you can paste a link from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube (including youtu.be links). It must be a full link that starts with https://. Links from other sites, such as Facebook, X or Vimeo, don't work.

These show right away, before anything downloads:

  • Paste a full https link: copy the whole link from the app's share menu and paste it again.
  • Only https links: the link must start with https://.
  • Start with an Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube link: the link is from a site ReShare AI can't use.

The video couldn't be loaded

If the link looks right, ReShare AI tries to download the video. If that fails, you'll see Couldn’t load that reel with a reason:

  • Not publicly available: the video is private, deleted, age-restricted or needs a login. Try another link.
  • No video found at that link: check that the link opens in your browser.
  • The platform is limiting downloads: wait a few minutes, then try again.
  • The download timed out: check your connection and try again.
  • Too large to process: try a shorter clip.
  • Not a video ReShare AI can read: try an MP4 or MOV file.

Tap Try again to load it again.

Use the video file instead

If you have the video on your device, skip the link. Under the link field, tap Or upload a video and pick an MP4, MOV or WebM file.
