Posting needs a preview and your yes

ReShare AI tells every connected agent to preview a post first and to publish only after you agree.

  • The preview shows the accounts, caption limits for each network, the video length, the time, and how many posts it uses. Nothing is sent and nothing is used.
  • ReShare AI won't publish unless the agent confirms it in the same request.
  • If the agent repeats a post after a timeout using the same request key, it still goes out only once.

Whether an agent stops to ask you depends on the agent. Read its preview before you say yes, and tell it to wait for you if it doesn't.

Give only what's needed

Each key has its own permissions: Read, Make videos and Post. If an agent only needs to read your analytics, untick the others when you create its key. An agent that tries something its key doesn't allow gets an error and does nothing.

Limits on keys

  • You can have 10 active keys. When you reach 10, New key is turned off until you revoke one.
  • Each key can make 120 requests a minute. Past that, the agent is told to wait and try again.
  • An agent sees only your own characters, videos, profiles and posts.
  • An agent uses your plan's allowance, exactly like the app.

Keep the key secret

  • Treat a key like a password: it can post to your accounts.
  • Keep it in your terminal or a password manager. Never put it in a shared folder or a code repository.
  • Depending on the agent, the key may be saved in a settings file on your computer. The install steps in Settings say where.

Stop an agent

Revoke its key in Settings, under Connect your agent. The agent stops working at its next request. See Connect an agent.

Sign out everywhere doesn't revoke keys. Agents keep working until you revoke their keys.
