The short version

ReShare AI is a tool, and you are responsible for what you make and post with it. When you use it, the Terms apply. You must be at least 18. In short:

  • Only use videos, images, audio and people's likenesses you own or have permission to use. That includes permission from everyone shown or heard in a video.
  • No nudity or sexual content of any kind, including intimate images shared without consent.
  • Nothing involving minors. A child can't be the person replaced or shown in a swap, and you can't make a character from a child's picture.
  • Don't use a real person's face, body or voice without their consent, public figures included, and don't impersonate anyone.
  • No deceptive deepfakes: don't show a real person saying or doing something they didn't.
  • No harassment, hate or threats, and nothing illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.

You keep the rights you have in your content. The Terms explain the license you give us so we can store, process and post it for you.

Where the app reminds you

  • When you sign in, you agree to the Terms. See Sign in.
  • The first time you paste a link or upload a video, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it.
  • Create shows a short reminder under the link and upload options.

If something isn't allowed

ReShare AI checks character pictures for nudity, and its AI providers check what they're sent. If something is refused, a video shows This content isn’t allowed: no nudity or sexual content. and a character shows This content isn’t allowed. Characters can’t show nudity or sexual content..

If we remove a video after a report, its page shows Removed after a report that it breaks our Terms. Contact Support if this is a mistake.. Breaking the Terms can also get an account suspended. See Report content.

Label AI videos

Swapped videos and characters carry an AI-generated tag inside the app. That tag is never added to what you post. When you post, you are responsible for any AI label a network or the law requires. On YouTube and Instagram, use the AI-generated label.

Each network's own rules also apply to what you post there.

These are the main points only. The Terms are the full text, and they may change.
